JODHA AKBAR- A GREAT HISTORICAL FILM

The newly released film Jodha Akbar although going through a great trauma but has ample features to be discussed. Jodha Akbar is based on wonderful historical background. '' Jodha" the rajput princess got married to The Mughal Emperor Of India " Jalaluddin Md. Akbar" . This is the story of 16th century.

In this film Director Aashutosh Gwariker has projected the Love & liberal angle of Akbar's Life. The film portrait the closeness of Akbar's & Jodha love & respect relation. The film is having all the beauty which one cine lover likes great picturisation, music by the legend music director A.R. Rehman. The film carved out by the best director of India. The leading role played by most talented and beautiful actress Aaiswarya and the hearthrob Hritik Roshan. The film is super.

Production house UTV has left no stone unturned to recreate the opulence of the Mughal Era, be it Nitin Desai's majestic palaces of the Rajputanas, Neeta Lulla's outstanding costume's or Tanishq's royal jewellery exclusive to the film. Kiron Deohans' camera promises to capture earth-shattering battle sequences with elephants, horses and swords!! Even the song sequences feature not 100 but 1000 dancers to add to the richness of the film.
The music for this epic tale is composed by world-renowned musical genius A R Rehman. combined with Javed Akhtar's solacing lyrics simply given a outstanding blend to Jodha Akbar.

The dispute is because of the fact that the historian's are not at a certain conclusion that "Jodha" was one of the character in Akbar's life. As clergy man found it very difficult to unreveal that a ''Jodha" the hindu princess is the responsible factor of giving the successor of "Mughal Dynasty".Although there should not be any disputes from film point of view. As Ashutosh the director has himself suggested that 70% of the film script is because of his imagination. So we should watch the movie with a modest view.

Beowulf [HD DVD]

Spectacular animated action scenes turn the ancient epic poem Beowulf into a modern fantasy movie, while motion-capture technology transforms plump actor Ray Winstone (Sexy Beast) into a burly Nordic warrior. When a Danish kingdom is threatened by the monster Grendel (voiced and physicalized by Crispin Glover, River's Edge), Beowulf--lured by the promise of heroic glory--comes to rescue them. He succeeds, but falls prey to the seductive power of Grendel's mother, played by Angelina Jolie... and as Jolie's pneumatically animated form rises from an underground lagoon with demon-claw high heels, it becomes clear that we're leaving the original epic far, far behind. Regrettably, the motion-capture process has made only modest improvements since The Polar Express; while the characters' eyes no longer look so flat and zombie-like, their faces remain inexpressive and movements are still wooden. As a result, the most effective sequences feature wildly animated battles and the most vivid character is Grendel, whose grotesqueness ends up making him far more sympathetic than any of the mannequin-like human beings. The meant-to-be-titillating images of a naked Jolie resemble an inflatable doll more than a living, breathing woman (or succubus, as the case may be)

The Tudors - The Complete First Season

The Tudors: The Complete First Season may cover the same subject matter as the 1970 BBC series The Six Wives of Henry VIII, but in every other respect it is a different idea of historical drama. Sexy and violent, The Tudors envisions Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) as a young man of both passion and ambition, driven by boundless sexual energy and the desire to establish a legacy early in his monarchy. When he isn't sleeping with any available beauty--heedless of whose daughter or wife a lover might be--he's getting fired up about going to war with France. He is amenable, however, to alternative ideas, including the counsel of his Lord Chancellor, Cardinal Wolsey (Sam Neill), who wants his king to sign a treaty of universal peace with all of Europe. Henry's fiery temperament endangers such a move, but Wolsey persists in hopes of gaining France's support for his own, possible ascendance to the papacy. His ambitions are not to be, however, and his fortunes go downhill as Henry's desire to wed Ann Boleyn (Natalie Dormer) puts Wolsey in the position of petitioning Rome for a hearing on the legitimacy of Henry's marriage to Queen Katherine.

Yuma

Here's hoping James Mangold's big, raucous, and ultrabloody remake of 3:10 to Yuma leads some moviegoers to check out Delmer Daves's beautifully lean, half-century-old original. That classic Western spun a tale of captured outlaw Ben Wade (Glenn Ford)--deadly but disarmingly affable--and the small-time rancher and family man, Dan Evans (Van Heflin), desperate enough to accept the job of helping escort the badman to Yuma prison. Wade, knowing that his gang will be along at any moment to spring him, works at persuading the ultimately lone deputy to accept a bribe, turn his back on "duty," and go home safe and rich to his family. That the outlaw has come to admire his captor intriguingly complicates the suspense. All of the above applies in the new 3:10, but it takes a lot more huffing and puffing to get Wade (Russell Crowe this time) and Evans (Christian Bale) into position for the showdown. Mostly, more is less. To Mangold's credit, his movie doesn't traffic in facile irony or postmodern detachment; it aims to be a straight-up Western and deliver the excitement and charisma the genre's fans are starved for. But recognizing that contemporary viewers might be out of touch with the bedrock simplicity and strength of the genre--not to mention its code of honor--Mangold has supplied both Evans and Wade with a plethora of backstory and "motivations." At the overblown action climax, the crossfire of personal agendas is almost as frenetic as the copious gunplay. (By that point the movie has killed more people than the Lincoln County War.) Best thing about the remake is Russell Crowe's Ben Wade, a Scripture-quoting career villain with an artist's eye and a curiously principled sense of whom and when to murder. As his second-in-command, Ben Foster fairly pirouettes at every opportunity to commit mayhem, and Peter Fonda contributes a fierce portrait of an old Wade adversary turned bounty hunter for the Pinkerton detective agency.

Pics Of Scale Hulk Model

it looks like we will have an idea of what the new Hulk Will look like! pics of this to scale model from the set of the film.
this is how the Hulk is going to look, I will be extremely happy. I love the size, build and look of this Hulk and personally think they have nailed it. In the film we will see the CGI version of this fella, and as long as the same dimensions are kept - I have no doubt that we will see the Hulk of legend throwing all sorts of things. This is a Hulk born to delight and entertain.

Lake Placid 2

The exclusively highlights of Lake Placid 2 are a elite shots of naked women, some ridiculously cheesy-facing blood and… well, that’s around it. At least my mother, who loves bad monster movies, will be happy to get a new DVD for her collection.
